Liverpool named a strong matchday squad for Saturday's trip to Bournemouth, so much so that there was no room for Joe Gomez and Federico Chiesa to be named on the bench.
Arne Slot made nine changes from the midweek defeat by PSV Eindhoven and selected the same side that easily dealt with Ipswich Town last week, but amid the strong bench named by the Dutchman, he couldn't find room for Gomez and Chiesa.
There was, however, more positive news with Curtis Jones, Diogo Jota and Darwin Nunez all selected among the substitutes after the trip missed the midweek trip to the Netherlands through injury and illness.
